The same would happen during city driving but I wiould have to re-start the car. The crank sensor tells the ignition system when to send a spark to the plugs. Eye witnesses said they saw flames coming from our vehicle before we even stopped. I found about 33 cases of this same problem reported on your website for the 2002 Bravada but it is not clear any action is being taken for a life threatening defect. Safety issue,definitely a manufactured defect ,there should be a recall. That really sounds like it is your O2 Sensor.
