You could open the sunroof and squirt water down each of the rear drain tubes and note when you have leakage but that would get the trim wet again. I don't believe the clips are supposed to stay on the panel. I ran soapy water through the sunroof tray and it exited the bottom of the car, but not very quickly. Does anyone have any experience doing this? Get something on the order of thick weed eater line or a length of fairly stiff but flexible electrical wire and push it through the lines from the sunroof corners and out the ends of the drains.
