Keith answered 3 years ago on mine the part that the linkage goes on to that connects to the transmission and it goes into the transmission a cotter pin rusted away on it I had to pull that part out of the transmission and then drill and tap the old cotter pin out and I actually use the nut and bolt to fix it.
