If you go to the site to download it, you are only given one option — Click-To-Run. I will be receiving Office 2010 Professional Plus. If the version number matches the most current version, you're up to date. It has full language support and will work on both 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems, although only the 32-bit version of Office 2010 can actually run on both platforms. It appears that Click-to-Run was reinstalled along with Starter — both programs appear in Control Panel. Microsoft Office I have a new machine running Win 7 Home Premium 64, which came preinstalled with Office 2010 Starter. I wouldn't expect to see this home-made-looking message box. Since most of them are standard users they are not able to open the program because it requires admin credentials on the prompt for updates.

It sounds to me that it possibly indicates a much deeper problem than simply an Office installation corruption issue.
