I did the straight pipe thing on the 728i. Codes are P0171, P0173, P1083, P1085. If so you should have cats in the exhaust manifold, and a cat midway down the length of the car. Will be attempting next weekend so will let u know how it goes. The ones in the exhaust manifold require some mucking around to get the sensors working properly. Reattach all parts following these instructions in reverse and rest in the knowledge that those small swirl flap blanks are keeping your engine safe. Reassemble the remaining items and check the exhaust system for leaks. It starts and idles ok but then engine start shaking randomly. I think you have a m54 engine? Anyone know of alternative options. I wouldnt worry to much.
